Coaching in Interviewing and Salary Negotiations
A violinist does not go on stage without ever having rehearsed. A pitcher does not take the mound in a championship game without ever having been coached. So why should you walk into an interview or a negotiation, your future job or salary at stake, without having practiced the skills necessary to succeed? Like playing an instrument or a sport, interviewing and negotiating skills can only be learned by doing. We will provide the venue in which to practice. And you can count on us for trustworthy, on-point feedback about how to improve. Making a good first impression, listening actively, thinking on your feet, maintaining a position of strength, responding honestly but tactically, coping with nerves--the interview or negotiation is a complicated and stressful interaction. But with good coaching, you will be empowered rather than intimidated, and well-rewarded for your time spent practicing.
